Join us at MCA Denver on Wednesday, February 16 to celebrate the opening of two new exhibitions: Dyani White Hawk: Speaking to Relatives and Eamon Ore-Giron: Competing With Lightning/Rivalizando con el Relámpago. The exhibitions feature new and recent works by the artists that recontextualize abstraction within a more expansive legacy of artistic creativity in the Americas. So, what’s all the hype around an MCA Denver exhibition opening? Let us paint you a word picture: At nightfall you and your friends make your way to the city, clad in your favorite ’fit. Upon entering the building you’re met with two major solo presentations of contemporary artists. Then, after exploring the museum and taking in the art on view to your heart’s content, you naturally head to the rooftop cafe and bar where WE DANCE to a live DJ set!
