DEATH’S HOLIDAY
A special edition pop-up created for the 2026 Colorado Creative Industries Summit
Welcome to San Mortis (formerly known as Trinidad)
Just a small town in a very big world, where something has gone terribly wrong.
No one here has died in quite some time.
At first, it felt like a miracle.
Now, things are starting to fray.
And to make matters worse, Death is somewhere in town, refusing to get back to work.
Death’s Holiday is an immersive theatrical experience created by Starry Night Productions, blending live performance, circus, and interactive storytelling. Audiences step into the world as travelers passing through San Mortis, guided through a series of encounters with its residents as they attempt to understand what’s happening—and what might happen next.
Your journey includes a trolley ride, a guided walk through town, pop-up performances, and optional experiences along the way. Each group moves through the story together, passing from character to character as the world unfolds around them.
Part guided tour, part open exploration, Death’s Holiday invites you to follow the story or wander off and see what you find.
WHAT TO EXPECT
