A circus-immersive holiday extravaganza set in a winter world, Moonlight Elves invites audiences into a spirited rivalry between two elf houses—Santa’s industrious North Pole elves and the old-magic elves of the South Pole—each vying to create the ultimate winter cheer. Welcome to the Moonlight Cabaret, where North Pole elves have gathered for centuries to kick off the season. But this year, the South Pole elves have arrived to stir up mayhem and remind everyone of the real reason to celebrate the season.

Moonlight Elves blends comedy, circus, interactive games, and theatrical mayhem. The moonlight shines so brightly… you just might need sunglasses.

Buba Basishvili

A theatre maker and performer from the Republic of Georgia living in the United States, Buba has worked in theatre, film, and as director and teacher in his hometown of Tbilisi and all across the globe.  In his toolbox are many practical skills: original theatre creation, character, mime, mask, clown, dance, directing, choreography, vaudeville, cabaret, melodrama, tragedy, Commedia dell'Arte, bouffon.  He loves the silly and serious combined.  

 He has his MFA in "Ensemble Based Physical Theatre" from Dell'Arte International in California, USA and performed, toured and taught with the Georgian State Pantomime Theatre for over 15 years. He was a director at Illiauni Theatre and University in Tbilisi. Buba received an MA in Mime Art from Shota Rusatveli State University of Theatre and Film, Tbilisi, Georgia.  

Amber Blais

Amber is Founder and Producing Director of Starry Night Productions (formerly Rainbow Militia Circus).

Amber has been practicing the aerial arts for over 15 years, with fabric as her favorite apparatus. When not in the air, she also performs as a tarot reader, actor, and public speaker. She has worked all over the U.S. and thrives when she is able to perform with live musicians. One of her favorite collaborations was with Chimney Choir at the Levitt Pavilion in a space themed circus extravaganza.

She has been featured in 5280 Magazine, Denver Post, and Denver Westword as a Colorado’s Creatives and 9 People to Watch

Meghan Frank

A theatre maker and educator who has worked globally (in Afghanistan, India, Canada, Egypt, Cuba, Azerbaijan and the Balkans). She specializes in original theatre making, physical comedy, mask, and acting for the stage. Meghan wears many hats as a performer, director, playwright, designer, educator, and collaborator. She founded Theatre Artibus with Buba in 2017, and has been the a primary creator for all original work co-created by the company.

She was original member of experimental performance group Glitter Gizzard. From 2012-14, Meghan was adjunct faculty member and community coordinator at Dell'Arte International School for Physical Theatre. In 2015, she received a National Arts Strategies Creative Community Fellowship. She is has been an ensemble member of Bond Street Theatre since 2023. Bond Street Theatre initiates theatre-based projects for conflict resolution, education and empowerment in critical areas worldwide. She holds an MFA in Ensemble Based Physical Theatre from Dell'Arte (2012) and a BA in Theatre for Social Change from UMASS Amherst (2003). She has given lectures at the UN, Emory University, and New York University on “Theatre in War Zones” as a member of Bond Street Theatre. She has taught all over Colorado, most notably with Mirror Image Arts and as an adjunct professor at the Community College of Aurora.

Fronzo Gilkey

A native to Colorado, Fronzo Gilkey II was introduced to the arts at a young age. He is inspired by exploration in various mediums to which he can contribute and has dipped his toes into writing, devising, teaching, production, & performance. Fronzo is now woven into multiple outlets and communities that encourage his creativity, self expression, and professionalism. He also serves as the Director of Operations for his company “Dyfferent Media”, which looks to create art that is grounded in belonging & leaves the viewer feeling a greater sense of connection with others, as well as themselves.

Julia Baccellieri

Julia Baccellieri was born and raised in the Chicago performing arts community starting as a dancer at age 5. Julia is known for their unique movement quality and high level acrobatics. specializing in dance, trapeze, Chinese pole, hulla hoops, and acrobatic dance.

Santa (James Brunt)

James Brunt is an actor born and raised in Denver, Colorado most known for pushing the boundaries of what we know about theater with immersive productions in obscure settings and hard hitting concepts that make his audience truly reflect on their views of the world. Playing roles from a cleaver wielding beet butcher, to a zany detective on the hunt for answers, he loves to create anything that will make his heart beat faster and blood boil up. He  received the 2019 True West award for breakout actors for his challenging portrayal of taxi driver, Bobby, in Mosque with The Black Actors Guild. Other works recognized were his productions with The Band of Toughs and Control Group. When Brunt isn't taking the stage, he still finds ways to enlighten his audiences by performing original slam poetry or creating magical moments as the beloved Santa Claus. He is also an educator of the arts, teaching Devising and Improv in Denver.

Bryan Connolly

Bryan Connolly has been doing circus in one form or another for over 20 years. During that time he had street performed, worked corporate events, and even toured with Cirque du Soleil’s Holidaze show.

Colleen Crowley

Colleen Crowley is an aerialist, flow artist, and acrobat based out of Colorado. Colleen discovered circus arts over 10 years ago and immediately fell in love. Starting off with silks, she has expanded into the wider world of aerial including dance trapeze and rope. What started as a hobby has turned into a lifelong passion. Colleen believes that movement can bring joy, creativity, expression of emotion, and healing and loves to bring these experiences to those around her.

Ana Cruz

Ana is a multi-faceted performer who performs all over Denver, Boulder, and Beyond! She has 9 years of circus performing under her belt and she specializes in hoops, fire, aerial, bellydance, and burlesque.

Bethel Lindsley

Bethel Lindsley has been a professional circus arts for the last 11 years. She is a generalist with a high level of skill in a large variety of disciplines. Her resume includes multiple contracts with Royal Caribbean, international performing with Dragone Entertainment, Feld Entertainment, a tour with Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Dreams. Currently she owns her own production company called Circus Foundry and is the Dive Director at Casa Bonita.

Thompson Powers

Thompson Powers is a Denver-based Puppeteer, Mascot, and Jack-of-all- trades who has played and originated characters for Meow Wolf, Casa Bonita, and Denver Zoo. Thompson can be seen on comedy stages around Denver with Makeshift Shakespeare, the PreTend Frends, and Hit & Run: Musical Improv. His original productions of Pricks! The Vaccine Musical, Born and Raised on a Submarine, and the Thompson Family Variety Show Must Go On continue to wow crowds at Fringe Festivals across the US.

Reverie Dance Company

Reverie Dance is a company based in Denver, CO dedicated to telling stories through movement. We believe in the power of expression, collaboration, and the art of dance to bring people together.

Gerald Robinson

Gerald Robinson is sleight of hand artist and mind reader from Denver, Colorado. Which means Gerald is great at mingling from group to group building engagement by performing magic with cards and coins in peoples hands.

Gerald has performed for many essential Colorado institutions such as The Denver Zoo, Museum of Contemporary Arts, and Denver Academy.

Alex Trujillo

Alex Trujillo is a seasoned fire artist, object manipulator, and acro performer who has been lighting up stages for nearly a decade. Specializing in rope dart, juggling, partner acrobatics, and theatrical fire performance, they blend technical precision with creative flair to craft moments that mesmerize and inspire. As both a performer and teacher, they are passionate about guiding others into flow, building community, and leaving audiences in awe with skillful movement and fiery spectacle.

Fallon Voorheis-Mathews

Fallon is the founder and artistic director of In the Wings, a Colorado-based company dedicated to building community through aerial dance and storytelling. With a background in dance and gymnastics, she fell in love with aerial in 2010 and has trained with world-class artists across the U.S. and Europe. Fallon’s work explores themes of resilience, transformation, and connection, blending circus and contemporary dance into emotionally rich performance. When she’s not creating or performing, she’s hanging out with her two lovable (and very drooly) dogs, working as a GI nurse, or sneaking away to Paris whenever she can.

Jonas Whalen

Jonas Whalen is a clown, equilibrist, juggler, actor and theatrical carpenter. As an original cast member and apparatus/prop fabricator for Circus Foundry, he has devised and performed over 10 different full-length shows.

He has also performed with Circo Hermanos Corona (Mexico City) & at Edinburgh Fringe.
